INTERNATIONAL YOGA TEACHER CERTIFICATION – BEGINNER
LEVEL

This course has been taught and refined by the
senior instructors of Integral Yoga for over 30
years and wins worldwide respect and regard. Graduates
will be certified to instruct a beginner’s
level class in Hatha Yoga. More importantly, the
program will enable participants to strengthen
further their own spiritual growth and experience
the peace of Yoga. Time invested in this program
will reap benefits that last a lifetime.

Instructions
in how to teach Yoga postures, deep relaxation, meditation
and pranayama at the beginner’s level |

Workshops to guide you step-by-step
in your own Yogic sadhanas and daily practice of asanas
and meditation |

Lectures and practices of Raja Yoga
– the science of the mind |

Lectures on adjunct topics such
as the Yogic diet, anatomy and physiology, principles
of healing, common diseases, Bhakti Yoga, Karma Yoga,
and Jnana Yoga |

A complete pranayama and meditation
course |

Mentoring to give hands-on experience
with teaching |

An introduction to
Yoga instruction for the elderly, children and pregnant
women |

Facilities and Board
The teacher training session will take place at the IYI in Coimbatore, or in a nearby Hillstations. Accommodations are twin-bedded rooms with private bathrooms. Wholesome vegetarian breakfast and lunch will be served.

The requirements
for certification are as follows: |

Full attendance
during programs. |
2, |
To conduct a standard
beginner’s level Hatha Yoga class
(‘qualifying exam’) to a few
of your peers. |
3, |
To satisfactorily complete
a written mid-term and final examination
on the lecture materials. |
