The IYI venue
Built
in 1996, the IYI is a four-story structure, including a
rooftop terrace, sun porches, and outside sitting areas.
There are five double (twin-bedded) rooms, all of which
have attached bathrooms with shower. There is a common fully
equipped kitchen and dianing room is available. All have
Western-style toilets.
There is an excellent library of books CDs, DVDs, audio
and video cassettes which are available for check-out by
library cardholders. CDs, DVDs and Video tapes can be viewed
at the Institute.
To
enhance your own library, books and audio cassettes by Sri
Swami Satchidananda and other spiritual masters are available
for sale, as well as other spiritual items.
Coimbatore and the IYI make a great combination for either
a, Yoga experience, a relaxing vacation or an adventures
tour. The IYI provides a good blend of East and West - with
a little of the best of both! Also the railway station is
a major junction and the airport serves all the major cities
in India, so Coimbatore is a great starting point for a
general tour of India.
